Lazy Saturday

I had a lie in today, with breakfast in bed - first time ever in this house, I think. It's hard to eat porridge in bed, which is why I rarely indulge, but a bagel and coffee filled the bill nicely.

I read quite a bit of my book, which is about a man with an out-of-control dog and an eccentric dog trainer. I'm identifying with him.

Archie's eyes are back to their bright, healthy, mischievous selves.  I taunted him a bit with this new toy and made him wait and pose with it.

Could be why he attacked it with great gusto moments later.

Could be why it's in shreds as we speak.

PS I made a delicious banana smoothie with our old blender. Who needs a fancy Nutri-Bullet?
