Katie's all excited for tomorrow's international night festival and today has been about gearing up for it. Today they have been practising their line dancing, ready for doing it for real tomorrow. They have been practising their songs for the parade. Their cowboy hats are decorated. They know what to wear for their parade costumes. They've all been talking about who is coming as what - I think there are going to be 30 Elsas from the sounds of it (Their class have been given Frozen as their film). She has been choosing the activities that she wants to try out- lei making, Native American headdresses, "visit the moon", the 50s diner. They've watched some of Finding Nemo too.  

As part of their studying of America, some of my incredibly kind American/resident in America blip friends said they would send Katie and her class some cards and photos of their state/city. The first one arrived today. She was really excited and can't wait to show it to her class. We are both so grateful, thank you!
