Eyeing a Grub ?

More sand-hill cranes. 

It seems that the adults are smart enough to remain hidden in the tall weeds, but these juveniles are both out-going and unafraid.

I say juveniles, but after doing some Goggling, it looks like some adults keep the rusty color. These two certainly acted more like a couple than siblings. Soooo...I don't know. ??????

I'm into my second day as a bachelor, while Lisa is off at a conference in Mickey Mouse Land...Orlando, Florida. She called last night to say that is was 93F, and they were stranded at their hotel without a vehicle. 

My doggie and I miss her.

I'm off to the kitchen to make supper (grilled salmon), and to perform my cleaning duties. HA!
