Katie chose the photo for today. And ts fitting really. Just over two years ago I posted her beside a similar sign outside this house, the first time I took her to see it. Now, the sign is back and we are going. I adore this house and am still not totally past the just being very sad to leave. She is excited about her new room and very excited about the knock-on benefits the move will bring.

We were going to have an at home day today. It didn't go to plan. We ended up dashing to the library for an appointment to finish her summer reading challenge and collect her medal. She then played as I worked at a friends house for a few hours. We made a stop home for a job before heading off to collect the gorgeous mug she painted for me at the weekend. It's beautiful! A bit more work over a cafe tea for her and we went home for some snuggles. She did so well at tolerating my working, partly on the promise of a nice day out tomorrow just the two of us, we are excited!
