Wasdale (Day 516)

It has been glorious in Orkney today. We wandered up the hill with the dogs in beautiful sunshine and under clear skies.
Back home my beautiful wife and I got on with a bunch of things that have been needing done around the house. I then spent a while in the shed making a start on another commission carving.
After lunch we headed off to Wasdale, which was unusually busy. It seems everyone wanted to enjoy the sunshine too.
HV dropped me and the dogs off at home and I finished off the carving whilst she went off to have a shot on a horse.
I've added a shot of the freshly washed finished carving. It is a memorial stone for a dog which belonged to a friend of a friend. It has turned out reasonably well.
