Sunday: Winter Wonderland

We had a lot more snow overnight and it continued for most of the day.  We  went for a walk in the neighbourhood and everything was beautifully crisp and quiet.

Later on this afternoon we were invited to an open house of some friends of H and J's.  H and J had asked if they could bring us along which was very sweet of them.  It was a nice gathering, with friendly people, but sometimes my threshold for being in a room of strangers, particularly when I do it so much for work, is low.  I think tonight was of one of those nights so we stayed for a respectable few hours and then left.  Another consideration was that it was over in East Van (where this photo was taken) and the roads were pretty snowy.

Having only had nibbles at the Open House we stopped off for a Vietnamese pho on the way home.
