At the door of a Hobbit house

Today we had a guided tour through the Hobbiton movie set which had been built for the Lord of the Rings movies and redone for the Hobbit movies. Really interesting to see how they had done it and how solidly they have now become, with the set being a permanent tourist feature. 

A run this morning, during which I saw a sculpture to note the passing of the Embassy Theatre in Hamilton. Tim Curry worked in the old Embassy building, and went to many late night B grade movie sessions. From that background he developed the ideas for the Rocky Horror Picture Show, which feature Riff Raff. My extra is of the statue of Riff Raff.
