From Behind

I was riding home with our volleyball group when Shelley (naturelover) asked me what I had posted today. I told her I had taken 1200 shots, and had only looked at half of them...but I was leaning toward a swan with a "come hither" look.

I took my daughter and grandson to Metro Airport in Detroit today for a short trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They were flying out at 12:30 p.m. It will be Merrick's last free flight. He turns 2 in 22 days.

On the way home, I stopped at Kensington Metro Park. The swans were out in abundance. Big ones, juvie ones, and injured ones. I would guess a turtle got ahold of the injured one. A park worker netted him, and tested the leg. He thought it wasn't broken, so maybe he will be OK.

On my Flickr page...I put up 15 photos. More swans, sandhill cranes, the travelers, cows, tiny donkeys, and the park worker. A full day.

A wonderful 70 and sunny afternoon. The trees are a'changing, and the temperatures are a'dropping. Highs in the 50's for the weekend...lows in the 30's. Like one of our local weathermen says..."CUDDLE ALERT...CUDDLE ALERT." Makes me nauseous.

Click her into LARGE if you like the rear view. Don't be ashamed.
