Speed of Light Part 2

Due to the time slot we'd chosen, the Speed of Light took us past midnight. I know I should have chosen a blurred shot of the runners creating their pretty trails across the hillside but when I saw this shot I was so impressed that it was pretty much in focus, that it had to be my shot.

As we ascended the hill, the walking staves started to make odd eerie noises that related to their height and movement. It was quite interesting and very unexpected. When we finally reached the summit the little movement triggered flashy lights were removed from the staves and added to a cairn on the very top. A couple of people had the job of shaking this all night to produce a strobe-like flashing cairn that would be visible some distance away, building in intensity as more groups of walkers went past.
