Exhilaration around the Fourclaz Express

Yesterday's extra showed this lift and if you compare you can see the weather has changed for the better.  Today was a real cold front day with strong winds, clouds flying by, and heavy showers of snow interspersed with lovely sunny periods.
We could take this lift up and arrive at the top in sunlight. Then take the next lift up and before we reached the very top we could suddenly be enclosed in grey cloud and flying snow.
There was so much snow on the prepared slopes that sometimes it was only the slope markers that showed we WERE on the piste.
It was exhilarating weather with quite technical skiing at times and it was SO lovely to see the sun!
