Today’s The Day

Just the four of us and we still had that early morning Christmas wake up - Joshua At 7:30!
The ‘stocking’ gifts appeared to be well received as was the light breakfast, just coffee and toast for me.
I still don’t feel 100% but the day and the company gets you through. Having written out the cooking times for Christmas lunch ingredients I rewrote them in sequential order and started to load the oven, within a couple of hours I was glad of a two oven cooker and the microwave.
Christmas lunch was great and enjoyed by all with not a lot left over, we all enjoyed it so much dessert was deferred until tomorrow.
As is the tradition in our house gift giving takes place following lunch and Clare and I both found ourselves spoilt by super generous children.
