River Kent, Kendal

A lovely, sunny day

We went to a really lively church in the morning where we were made very welcome.

After lunch, we went for a walk along the River Kent, which flows through the centre of Kendal. There are many bridges and this is the view from the Lound Road Bridge, with the Old Parish Church on the left hand side. We had a look inside this church - it is huge.

After dinner we went back to the church we visited in the morning where we enjoyed a wonderful, reflective communion Service.
