The first robin of 2020

I did not take me long to blip a robin lol. It had been a very windy night and grey and damp in the morning so did not fancy going outside but by lunchtime the wind had dropped completely so I sat outside for a while. The Robins were busy feeding on the fat balls or chasing each other round the garden.Blue, great and coal tits flitted to and fro collecting sunflower hearts or nuts. The goldfinches have started singing at the tops of the trees again, you could just about hear them above the noise of two crows who I think are searching out a nest site. The ‘zip‘ sound of field fares could be heard too as they rose from the ground up into the trees in large flocks.
The sun did come out , again just before it set so we went for a walk. It was busy at Rosemarkie so we went back to the Point and had a nice stroll. Not much around but David found some nice pattern pottery for me and plenty of sea glass.
Back home for a cold meat salad. We like watching Catchphrase so had fun guessing what they were.Davids so good at it and gets most within a few seconds. We ended the night watching the first one of Dracula which we enjoyed, looking forward to watching the next two episodes :)
