"Love will see us through"
Dan and I decided that, it being the weekend, we'd take a slightly longer walk, today. We took a route up through Low Biggins and High Biggins, picking up 'the telegraph road' that runs across the fields to Hutton Roof.
As we were doing a longer walk, we'd packed what might be very loosely classed as a picnic in the form of a flask of coffee and a bar of chocolate. It was very pleasant to stop and take shelter from the wind behind a stone wall and to have a little rest.
We don't see many people when we're out walking and we only saw one chap as we walked along the road that runs through Hutton Roof. He was a little way ahead of us, walking his dog. At one point he stopped to pick a sign off the floor and prop it back up against the wall.
When Dan and I passed it a minute or so later, we turned to see what it said: "Love will see us through".
