Wait For Me

One of the highlights of my year was the Battle of Britain Air Displays held at RAF Leuchars, now occupied by The Army, and renamed Leuchars Station.

The air displays are no more, however, there are displays at the Museum of Flight and elsewhere.

I thought a couple of photos from previous events might be suitable for today.

The main entry is called Wait For Me. The planes featured are a Supermarine Spitfire and Three of the Red Arrows.

The extra is Tail fin art featuring the graphic of a biplane on a current fighter plane.

It is another overcast day. However it is mild and rain is forecast for later.

I have spent quite a bit of today gathering together film slides and negatives.

We enjoyed a rather splendid lunch with wine, which rather induce a soporific mood for the afternoon.

Luckily coffee has come to the rescue.
