A Blip Meet!

How lovely it was this morning to meet fellow Blipper Jeannie (JeanneB53) in person along with her husband Chris. They called by to see us on the boat and we sat on the back deck (among the washing!)  having a good old natter. We found loads to talk about.

Before they arrived it was washday and my trusty little twin tub was put into action. 
It's good drying day!

I received a private message from Barbara - the lady who is checking on Baby Jack(daw). She sent me a photo of him standing below the church tower which is where he probably fell from originally. She thinks other people will be keeping an eye out too.

Sabrina phoned yesterday afternoon to say both girls had been to the opticians and Lucy needs specs for long distance but only needs to wear them 4 hours per day to see the board at school, for watching TV and for screentime.

Amelia wanted some too but was told her eyes are better than anyone's eyes they had tested - they called her Hawkeye! :-D

It's so lovely and sunny today but too hot to do much.
It's just nice having a rest day.
