Welcome, 2022!

Actually, we did hear the bells last night. And JR was still up, so she went outside to ‘see the fireworks’ (we can see the castle from our street), but they were only being let off by some random people on the Meadows, though I think there was a proper display at Stirling Castle.

Archie had an earlier, and shorter, walk with Elizabeth today, as she was busy in the afternoon. But he’s got some bonus ‘E’ (our code for Elizabeth when we don’t want him to get excited) walks coming up in the next couple of days.

JR rolled out her gym mat, and then did some exercises. She rolled out the mat a couple of days ago, but that was as far it got. Chrissy popped by to wish us a HNY.

In the afternoon, as it was such a nice day, we all went out for a walk round the Meadows and then the others walked much further while I came home.

Sharp eyes will notice JR’s Christmas present, a new handbag, on its first outing. I got lots of Brownie points for that secret present, which I shall be cashing in all year.
