WET!

A change from cool and breezy today - cool and breezy and WET! All day!!

JR took the car to the gym. Chrissy came back with her to have a cuppa and see the Champagne photos, although there were rather a lot of photos rows and rows of very dusty bottles - we didn’t really sight-see much.

I listened to my new audio book (David Sidaris - quite amusing) and then went round for afternoon tea to Mary’s flat because her daughter and son-in-law from Perth (Australia) have come to stay for a while. We had a chuckle about their winter temperatures being warmer than our summer temperatures… but they’re Scottish, so weren’t really expecting HEAT. They’re here for quite a while, so hopefully we can have them over in our sunny back garden at some point…

JR got these fabulous peonies a while ago, and they’re just beginning to open up.
