Eighteen!

After Covid spoilt her birthday, last year, Abi has been taking no chances this year, and spent the last two nights at her mum's.

However, she and Dan did come over to visit me, this afternoon, where we had a birthday party out on the deck. Both were on great form, and I'm glad to say this year's cake turned out better than last year's (even though I didn't use the fan oven).

She's been talking a lot about paddleboarding this last few weeks, so I bought her one for her birthday and she was absolutely delighted :-)
