Thursday: Buzzing

Breakfast and dinner this evening outdoors - too hot rest of the day.
But I ventured outside, to the greenhouse to collect peashoots to have with my lunch, that’s when I saw this large and beautiful bee - obviously house hunting!
She was flying low over the grass, landing then burrowing down to the soil - we’ve had moisture in the form of dew for the last few mornings providing some moisture under the shade of the fruit trees.
I took a couple of dozen photos, none of them brilliant - hopefully they illustrate the busyness of this beautiful creature!
