Three Wheels On My Wagon

Spotted this in the Leisure Centre car park and wonder what has happened. The window is open, there’s rubbish on the seats and it’s up on a jack with one rear wheel missing.
The logical inference would be that the owner discovered a puncture, hadn’t got a spare and has taken the wheel to the nearest tyre depot to get it repaired. Except that the sticker on the windscreen says the vehicle is being investigated as abandoned, implying it’s been in this state for some time.
A bit of a mystery. Though not one I’ll lose sleep over.
