Archie was out for the day, so we went into town for lunch. I had a very good offer of 40% off a main course from the place we visited last week. 40% off! Too good to pass up.

And so we splashed out and shared a chateaubriand, never having had one before. And what a thing of beauty it was (but only to carnivores) with thrice cooked chips (x2), mushrooms, spinach, samphire, broccoli and bechamel sauce. Brilliant!  And at £15 each - great value.

But I shan’t look at a steak again until the cruise.
