Silly Granddogs

My son woke me up early this morning. When his wife set up grocery pick up time, she was unaware of his morning meeting. So I hopped out of bed, got ready, grabbed my coffee and with hubby, headed to the grocery store. We put everything away, enjoyed our grand-dogs Raven and Willow for a bit and returned home. Those pups are very lovable and know Gram won’t leave without sharing a few treats. Raven, the calmer of the two, thinks she is a cat and lays on the back of the couch. Willow had to stick right next to me as I put away the groceries. Looks like she may be ready for a nap. Our DIL is still not able to lift and shouldn’t even go up and down their nine feet of stairs yet. We were glad to help. It was actually nice having more day to enjoy. Took care of a few jobs I kept putting off: watering all my plants, vacuuming, restringing my stained glass window ornaments, etc. It seems Amazon or someone somehow “lost” one of hubby’s orders. He spent way too much time with FEDEX and Amazon trying to track it down. Result: the order was cancelled and his money refunded. He “suited up” in his KofC tux and headed to the next county to participate in a living rosary at a Catholic school. It is Catholic Schools Week; special events are held for the students and staff. Otherwise, we will have a quiet beginning to a busy weekend. That suits me as the temps are steadily dropping and the wind is making it seem even colder outside. Thanks for stopping by. Be safe and healthy. “Among the things in my life I thank God for most is the love He gave me for animals. My heart would be emptier, and life would be less without them.” - Unknown
