Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Productive day!

An action packed day! Starting at 8.30, when I walked across the Links to catch a bus down to Leith's Community Health Centre. I must say, Leith Walk was looking very lovely, now that the tram tracks are finally in place.

A most pleasant meeting with a health specialist, re my breathing tests a couple of days ago. She was confident that it can be fixed and controlled with training, and so I've been referred to the person who can do that. She said my heart and lungs were good!! First time I've heard that news.

JR took Archie out, then the chap came for the gas fire service. He polishes it up and sprays the coals, so it's gleaming like new.

Then we drove to B&Q via the charity shop where I got rid of two big rubbish bags of clothes! That felt good. At B&Q we got all the stuff to assemble a new line for more clothes hangars. NOT more clothes - just more space to spread everything out.

In the afternoon JR took Archie out again, and I went to the gym. JR also washed windows, watered the garden, planted a new herb garden. We were both really busy, though I can't think what I did…

This shot was taken from the top front seat on the bus on the way home. I always like this view, with bonus seagull. It was cool and cloudy all day. Check out Archie and his sore eye (Extra). It's not looking too pretty yet, but we go back to the vet tomorrow for a check up.
