Earth moving

An odd day with lots of unplanned things happening. I had emailed to ask about the final item on the snagging list for our new home. Bob the builder leapt into action (not quite) and turned up with a carpenter to do the first half of the job. He couldn’t the other bit so Bob disappeared and returned an hour or so later with a kitchen fitter. Whilst he waited for the job to be done, he gave Amber a handful of treats that I provided. That kept her happy. 

After several days of rain it was dry today and the earth moving operation has commenced. The builders are starting on a new area within the site and are moving quantities of soil about.
