A Picture Of Me

Whilst I did the ironing this afternoon, Mrs C was mounting some of her prints, ready for entry into various camera club competitions later in the year. She had a spare mount, so I asked if she would also do one of the ones I had printed off the other day when setting up/testing the new printer. No idea who it’s a picture of, but he’s obviously a really cool dude and possibly a bit of a rock god!
It’s been another miserable day, weather wise, today. 100% rain was forecast and, so far, that forecast has been 100% accurate. We popped into town this morning for a coffee and to grab some vegetables for tea from M&S. I also called into Pete Bland Sports’ summer sale in the Parish Hall as I was toying with buying a pair of trainers suitable for off road use. Didn’t see anything that took my fancy - at least, not at a price I was prepared to pay, for something that might only be used a handful of times in the year.
We did have plans to go through some more boxes in the loft after I’d done the ironing but, frankly, I can’t be ar*ed and am happy to just slob out until it’s time to watch the Hungarian Grand Prix highlights. I have imposed a strict news and social media blackout this afternoon to avoid finding out the result beforehand!
A drier day is forecast for tomorrow, which will be a welcome relief after a weekend of rain. Mrs C is off to the seaside with her camera and I will hoping to be going to Barrow to pick up my new amp.
