Agrotis Segetum aka the Turnip Moth
As promised, this has been a day of total rest for me. Ahhh. I’ve caught up with blip, prayed, read and taken a few short walks. Even this moth helped - it showed up on the rug in front of our camper. Not so much rest for hubby although he is making up for it now - see extra. When it was time for bed last night, hubby discovered he’d left his shaving kit home. I had a new toothbrush, toothpaste and we could have bought necessities but it also contained his medication. He contacted my son and when Parker got up, he went to our house and searched for the missing bag. It was in the back seat of hubby’s SUV. Our home is approximately 1.5 hours from the campsite (thankfully it happened at this one) so hubby spent a good chunk of his day driving. I was delighted it was found. More than once, he has set his coffee, miscellaneous tools and hardware on the fender or hood of his truck and driven away. We are simply too busy at home trying to do three things at once. All’s well now. The rest of our week here should be relatively calm. Every site is filled, many with children and pets, so we expect much activity. But our rain shield also gives us great privacy. Thanks for dropping by. Slow down and smell the roses folks. “‘Don't be the moth. Be the light bulb.' When I say that I mean don't follow the crowd. Just shine. Be the light bulb. Do your thing. Pave your own path.” - Sara Paxton
