A hot day in Nashville

You could tell we were in a nice part of mid-town - we were spoiled for our choice of brunch eatery. And as for brunch itself, there was nothing as simple as eggs and toast, no. Maple syrup, bacon, fried tomatoes, grits (?).. I could go on. And on we did go - to some comedy redneck bus tour which was a good way to see the place.
Later, we successfully (just) got a bus down town. Not so many white folks on the bus. Ok, none. Town was heaving - it’s hen party central (bachelorettes I believe). Hell on earth packed into the brief downtown area with blaring shit bands in every bar. Luckily we found a quiet place for a beer before visiting the quite excellent Johnny Cash museum. Seriously good.
A walk to the footbridge over the river - streaming with Titans fans on their way to the game and then the bus back to Hillsboro where we were so hot and puggled we dived into the first bar we came to. Cracking choice! Hot dogs, great beer and errrr American football! And the Titans won! I gather that was unexpected.
