Blowing In The Wind

We got up early so we could tackle our to do list. Hubby prepared the car so we can load it this evening. He vacuumed the house. I worked in the kitchen. Many of our tasks were away from home. We took our trash and recycling to the convenience center. I returned the unusable gifts I purchased. Hubby ordered our lunch and one for my mother and we headed to Ridge. Sometimes, you have to “make time”. My mother gets very lonely and does not really cook much. Everyone tries to take a meal that she will enjoy to keep her going. We had lunch and simply chatted for a while. She surely enjoyed her pot roast lunch. These pampas grasses are on the country lane going to her home. I really like them. We made several stops on the way home, mostly to get gift cards to go in one of the gifts we are giving several family members. I picked up a box of blueberry muffin mix (too tired to make the homemade apple coffee cake). We are taking lunch to the lacrosse games so we can head to WV at the end of the tournament. I bought deli meat while hubby filled our vehicle with gasoline. We forgot one stop but we can go there on our way north tomorrow. I made muffins and pumpkin cheesecake bread for breakfasts. Will make scones to take tomorrow morning. Hubby checked off several small jobs while I baked. I think we are almost finished. Not feeling great today; have a telehealth visit with Urgent Care in a few minutes. Hopefully he will call in another prescription at the end of the call. Hubby is making homemade pizzas for dinner after his nap. Sending wishes that you are having a good day. Stay safe. Thanks for the visit. “One person caring about another represents life’s greatest value” (Jim Rohn).
