Cornucopia

Today didn’t quite turn out as planned.  We thought B/C and the babies were coming tomorrow but got a cheery text saying, ‘on our way!’, just after lunch which meant an acceleration and cancellation of plans.  We were going to East Meon carols and dinner but had to ring and apologise.  

But we swung into action and baby-proofed the living room hence all the flowers on the big table, rustling up a supper (V did) and fast forwarding various things whilst relegating others to tomorrow morning.  Still a lot of wrapping to do.  

Ivy is walking so fast now and talking a little as well (note to Blip friends, she has Downs so everything is a bit slower) and Leo is cruising and looking quite the little boy.  

Beet was very tired in the early evening but a few glasses of left over rum punch and spicy sausage pasta revived him no end.
