The Feast Day of St. Marcellus 1.
I awoke to see the garden transformed by marvellous snow. It was forecast yesterday.
It is minus 2 but feels like minus 5.
The snowflakes are those magical ones where you can see the exquisite patterns. I love snow. It is coming down steadily and heavily.
The cats are curious and interested in the unusual, for them, changing landscape. Children have walked to school and dogs have been walked. No cars have moved. It is quiet and beautiful in our Close.
I have put water out for the birds.
