Kirkcudbright Harbour

Today's the day ...................... to be high and dry

It was low tide in the Dee Estuary and all the scallop dredgers moored up in Kirkcudbright Harbour were going nowhere fast.

In fact, it was all pretty deserted wherever you looked.  The lobster pots (see extra) were in a heap.  Everything was marking time until the tide returned and made everything possible again.

Then it would be a hive of activity ........................
