Back on track

After a weekend of socialising with Audrey; resulting in her having late naps, eating rubbish etc. I decided the best thing for her would be a nice stable day with her Mum.

And that's what we had. Healthy food, play, walks, naps on time etc.

Took her to the Leisure Centre for the Stay and Play session this morning which she absolutely loved. There's a bouncy castle, a slide etc. Took this picture of her on the see-saw which she was very accomplished with, climbing on and off unaided.

Every time we go to something like this or soft play, I swear she picks up a bug though. So I took a pack of antibacterial wipes today which I intend to keep in the pram from now on. Hands washed before and after is the new order of the day!

Started dummy training today too. She is no longer allowed the dummy in the house. Only in the cot for naps or quiet play. There have been some tough moments especially tonight when she got tired but I have perservered.

I've also hidden it from view and when we're out in the pram, I don't automatically give it her unless she asks for it (she lasted 30mins without remembering today on a walk to Longford Park).

Noticed that instead of the dummy, she has been putting her fingers in her mouth as a substitute though. So not sure what is better!

Angus is finally home tonight after working flat out all weekend and we have a day off tomorrow. Forecast? Heavy rain, obviously. Hey ho. It is Manchester after all!
