Rightmove Monster

Woke up feeling utterly dreadful this morning. Angus had got in late so dragged myself out of bed to Audrey's cries but couldn't do it. Had to call on Angus for back up. It is very rare I can't get up early with her in the morning with Angus's shifts the way they are - but today I just needed more sleep. Bless him, he let me go back to bed too.

Sleep and a strong coffee later I started to feel slightly better but the exhausted feeling has hung around all day.

Audrey was pretty shattered from an early start too so we put her down for an early nap at 11am which meant we could make our 1.30pm lunch booking at Albert's in Worsley. It only opened a few weeks ago and it's great, a real buzz and it had a brilliant Sunday lunch atmosphere (Audrey and I pictured in there).

We've been doing that dangerous thing recently whereby we look on Rightmove and play the "what if we moved" game. What we have discovered playing this game is that is in certain parts of North Manchester (Monton, Worsley etc), we get approximately three times the size of house for our money!

Whilst we'd be very sad to leave Chorlton, once we discovered this - it has been hard to ignore it so it's been occupying quite a bit of our time lately. We'd been Rightmove fantasising about one house in particular today - so after lunch - we set off to find it. Big mistake. We loved it (from the outside anyway). We've now spent the whole evening redecorating it (in our heads). But what do we do now? Go and look at it? Get our house valued? It all seems a bit extreme. A week ago, we had no intention of moving and were pretty content. We've poked the Rightmove Monster!!!
