The Far Side

If the Forth Road Bridge was and LP (kids....ask your dad what that is!), and South Queensferry was the 'A' side,...then North Queensferry would be the 'B'side.

The side that only REAL fans play.

It's hard to get an original blip of the bridge with the 'Equity Card', since it's a very popular spot for a blip!

But let me go one step further. North Queensferry is an unknown jewel. Similar views, less tack, winding cobbled streets and cottages dating to 1700's, a little fishing village - beautiful.

Slightly spoiled by the presence of the Sealife Centre, however - you can only see the massive signs and the car park. The Centre itself has been tastefully hidden at the waterside - and makes a great day out (albeit an expensive one - use your Tesco Vouchers!)

The blips of the famous bridge really don't do justice to its massive scale and engineering brilliance. Stand underneath and gaze up when the trains go over. I dare you !

Photography group trip to the 'other side' - disappointing light and no spectacular sunset - but give it a visit and take a wander amongst the glorious little streets - you won't be disappointed.

p.s. No tour guides were hurt in the making of this blip.
