Speedway

I slept in until 9.45am today; a time completely unheard of in our flat! I must have needed it after a hectic day in London. We wandered up to the farmers market to get some fruit n veg, and then went into town for lunch and to pick my new specs. It took me ages; I'm not a natural glasses wearer, and don't think any suit me. G trailed around with me, helping by taking pictures and offering his thoughts! We spent the evening at the Foxhall speedway track. I'd been meaning to go for a while; it's something I did a couple of times with my Dad when I was young and remember really enjoying it. The bangers are still the best event; unfortunately we had no Destruction Derby tonight; though most of the Banger races weren't far off that!
