Messiah

We had a quiet morning at home, Katie was exhausted from all the craziness! She had a good nap before we headed over to the final afternoon of film school. We arrived just as the filming of the birth of Jesus had taken place, so both Jesi (we decided that was the logical plural of Jesus!) got to play together for a bit, well Katie played, baby Jesus looked confused.

Harriet (known as Herod in the 'traditional' nativitiy!) discovers the birth of Jesus, after reading 'Yeah' magazine and seeing the front page, as shown in the picture. It doesn't go well - there are mug fragments that can vouch for that! I took the shot on the front of the magazine, and this shot itself, so it's still my photography! There was much fun involved in the 'stunt' scenes today - as well as filming the mug breaking there was a riot, with Harriet's henchmen, the kids got to throw fake rocks - Katie saw this from a distance and thought it was hilarious,

She has yet again been a star... a lot of the day, the extras (the younger kids) have had to be super quiet, sit in classrooms playing games etc, whilst small group scenes were filmed and she really enjoyed pottering round the kids, chattering away. Midafternoon, she had a fantastic time sat chattering to the producer, think she cheered him up from his stressed and weary state! There's some gorgeous shots of 'Mary' knelt down to Katie, and Katie looking straight at her.

Its been a fantastic week, we've both loved being involved. And can't wait to see the premiere. Only 120 headshots to edit... nothing compared to the mountain of footage from all 3 cameras that the video crew have to trawl through, though!!

Thankyou to everyone for helping yesterday's blip hit the spotlight!! That's never happened to one of my 'normal' blips, only my blippiversary!
