ballpool

Katie has ballpool balls, but rather than a normal pool, she has a play tent that she had them in. However, she gets so excited, swooshes them everywhere, scattering across the room, only for her to be sad that she no longer has them in her reach. So I have bought her a pool for them. And she is delighted. Not only can she sit in it, lie in it, swoosh in it, she can get out of it, and tip the whole lot. Everywhere.

We went to Montessori this morning. And to Katie's delight, the pasta tray was back. Hurray! To her disappointment, it was raised in one of the stands. So I stood her on a little chair (standing with her to ensure no accidents, fear not!) and her morning was complete. She stayed there for half an hour nearly.

Some of the mums were going for lunch and a trip round Asda, so we decided to join them. Katie rejected her favourite fruit pots, but ate Harrisons fish finger, refused her crackers, but ate emma's philadelphia sandwiches, whilst Harrison rejected his fishfingers, ate emma's yogurt, and emma refused her sandwiches but ate Katies crisps! As for Asda, who'd have thought it could be so much fun, but the kids had a great time! Apparently, the key to supermarket shopping not being stressful is making it a group activity, taking LOADS of snacks and letting the children choose to carry random things like a toilet brush round the supermarket. Oh, and to allow the repeated playing musical trolleyseats.
