I love the beauty of the world and want to use my camera to capture that beauty into something I can keep forever...sort of like trapping a fairy in a jar for my very own.
A year ago, I started carrying my little Canon SD1200 IS wherever I went so that I can "seize the moment." Soon I was addicted and invested in my Canon Rebel XSi, which never leaves my side thanks to an awesome hand-me-down bag from my friend pddesigns.
As a family, we love the outdoors and love nature....and, well life in general I suppose.
100 blips: In the recent weeks, I've really started to experiment with my photography pushing my limits of knowledge and capability. Some of my images may seem out of sorts, but it is all in my search for who I am as a photographer.
200 blips: I am continuing on this journey. Since my 100th blip, I have started my own small business called Inspire Designs Photography. I haven't made any money yet, but maybe by my 300th I'll have pocketed a little.
300 blips: I managed to make a few bucks with photography, which is cool. I'm experimenting with HDR, long exposures and wide angles a lot more. I broke down and purchased a Tamron 10-24mm lens and am in heaven.
365 blips: So much has happened this past year. I have grown in so many ways. I really enjoy this community and will just keep on blipping.
Blip of the Week (BOTW) - Oh wow what an honor. I am still stunned that my image was selected for that week.
500 blips: So much learned and so much more to learn. Keeping it daily and not sure when I'll stop.
730 - 2 years: Wasn't sure if I'd keep on blipping daily after this milestone, but it seems I might. The latter of these last 2 years has been one of the most difficult in my adult life. Looking forward to a better 365 days of blipping.
