A whirling day!

Up early as my body is on Eastern time so I went for a walk to Lake Michigan which is actually within walking distance of Diane’s house.

Diane and I went out for French toast breakfast…stuffed with bananas, strawberries and blueberries then topped with swirls of whipped cinnamon cream cheese.  Yum!

Connie stayed at the house to work on her blip.

A walk in the woods near the church to visit the cemetery of nuns. Interesting history.

Then on the Milwaukee for a few hours at the Polish Festival. We caught up with Diane’s daughter Jenny, and her granddaughters.  We did enjoy the dancing and music…and the food.  The pierogis we ate were very different from the ones  that we made at home several months ago.

After the festival we went to a lighthouse where there were fabulous irises blooming.

Another long day.  Tomorrow it may rain so we are waiting to make plans.
